January 8, 2013

Since we had to spend our day close to home waiting for the carpet cleaning guys, Colton and Levi headed to the park to spend some time playing there.  As you can see, Levi is LOVING being able to actually participate at the park (don't worry...that's about as far up as he got!).

PS: On a programming note, now that Levi has turned one, we will be changing our posting up a bit.  Posts will still take place most days, but we're not going to force it on days where the boys really didn't do anything noteworthy and/or have cute pictures to show off!

January 6, 2012

Colton and Levi took it pretty easy on their Sunday, staying home for most of the day.  After their naps, though, the boys headed out to Wild Wing with mom and dad to meet some friends, eat some dinner, and watch some football.  Colton was quite the big boy and got to sit at the "kids table" all by himself (mom and dad were right behind him), and he seemed to have a blast playing with the girls (and iPhone) there.

January 5, 2013

After running a few errands this morning, Colton and Levi were treated to their first basketball game of the season (well treated as in they got to go...ODU is actually pretty awful this year so watching it was a little painful!).  Both boys really enjoyed the outing...Colton took sitting in his own seat very seriously, but then got very excited for "Ice Cream and Cake," while Levi had a good time looking for Big Blue.  After coming home and taking naps, the boys joined mom and dad for dinner at California Pizza Kitchen where both boys were pretty fantastic!  Now that Levi has turned one, he is clearly very intent on being a big boy...he has to walk EVERYWHERE and even got to drink from a big boy cup at the restaurant.  As a really special treat, Colton and Levi even got to get some Cold Stone (where Levi continued to walk laps up and down the place!) before heading home.

Happy, happy birthday Levi Shane!  Our boy turned one today, and naturally the day was spent celebrating him, including his birthday pancakes, some gifts, and dinner out with all of his family members at the Japanese Steakhouse.  We decided to give Levi the day off, so his official birthday post/picture won't come until tomorrow.  But on his first birthday, it should be noted that Levi is definitely an extraordinary little boy with a personality that is fun, loving, and big!  We love you sweet boy...(and now on to a whole ton of pictures)

January 3, 2013

Colton and Levi got off to an early start today and made it home just in time to greet the refrigerator repair man (who did no repairing, but said he would need to order parts instead).  When he was done, the boys made a quick trip to TJ Maxx and then spent the rest of the day at home...in complete mayhem!

January 2, 2013

Colton and Levi started off their day with a trip to the JCC and then went to meet Quiana and Patrick at the bounce house for some fun.  After jumping and running around, the boys headed out for lunch before coming home for the rest of the day. Meanwhile, Levi has quickly figured out a big perk of being a little brother: he can pout his way into having treats, namely a nightly Oreo cookie, way before he should be having them just because his brother is snacking on them.  Oh, and of course, one wasn't enough for our little boy: as soon as he finished his half an Oreo, he walked over to the pantry to bang on the door for more (don't worry, he was not given anymore!).

January 1, 2013

Happy new year! The boys started off 2013 with a trip to the broken egg for breakfast followed by a stop at lowes and Dillard's before coming home for the rest of the day. At night they headed back out to get dinner with mom and dad at big SAm's. as we begin the new year, both boys are growing up so quickly. Levi has begun drinking milk and is down to only 1-2 bottles a day! And Colton has begun giving private concerts (baa baa black sheep and the wheels on the bus are his specialties) and calling people on the phone.
