December 22-23, 2012

Colton and Levi were busy over the weekend getting ready for Christmas and celebrating Ry's birthday.  On Saturday, the boys ran some errands with mom and then went out for lunch at Taste Unlimited with mom and dad.  At night, they joined the family, C's family, and some friends for dinner at No Frill Grill and dessert at Sasi's for Ry's birthday celebration.  Clearly, Colton enjoyed all the fun (and sugar!) and left the party quite pumped up.
On Sunday, the boys (and even dad!) met everyone at Shorebreak to watch a very disappointing Steelers game.

Colton began his day at school, but with a special treat as both sets of his grandparents joined him there for Grandfriends' Day.  Needless to say, he had a blast showing them his classroom, singing skills, and crafting abilities.  And he even got to go out to lunch with Nene and Papa afterwards.   Meanwhile, Levi hung out with mom and Gigi running some errands.  At night, the boys joined mom and dad for dinner at Wild Wing.

December 20, 2012

After their morning trip to the JCC, Colton and Levi took their much anticipated trip to visit Santa.  Amazingly, both boys seemed happy to be there (more shocking on Colton's end) and Colton repeatedly told Santa he wants a "choo choo dog cat" for Christmas.  Once back home, the boys helped make a gingerbread house and then took their naps for the day.  At night, the whole family went out for Mexican.

December 19, 2012

After a hectic last few days, Colton and Levi were happy to have a much more relaxed Wednesday.  Colton started off his day at school, while mom and Levi ran a couple of errands.  Once Colton was picked up, everyone hung out at home for the evening.   When dad got home for the night, both boys were super eager to greet him after missing him for the last few days.

December 18, 2012

Whew!  What a busy, busy day the boys had today!  After their morning trip to the JCC, Colton and Levi headed to the park for Levi's first birthday photo shoot and some play time.  Of course, Colton managed to squeeze himself into a lot of pictures as well!  They came back home to calm down for a bit and then Gigi came over to go to Christmastown with them.  Christmastown was as wonderful and fun as everyone remembered from last year...except even better this time because 1. Levi was with us, and 2. Colton could ride (and loved riding) the rides.  While Levi couldn't quite get in on the action this year, he did enjoy the lights and scenery.  And now a whole bunch of pictures:

December 17, 2012

Colton headed off for school this morning, while Levi spent some quality time at the JCC and then running errands and cleaning up the house with mom.  With so many new toys, the boys had a blast playing at home for the afternoon, and then after naps, they went over to mom's friend Katie's/Colton's friend Savannah's house for some play time and dinner.

December 16, 2012

Daddy left early this morning for a work trip, so Colton and Levi were stuck with just their mom for the day.  They were treated to chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast (per colton's request) and then headed over to Ry and C's house for a bit while mom went to a cookie exchange.  After wearing out Ry and C the boys returned home for the rest of the afternoon where Colton entertained himself with Mickey's Choo Choo and some of his new toys and Levi spent time watching the Steelers with mom.  Meanwhile, Colton kept asking to do Hanukkah and seemed to have a hard time understanding that all that fun was finished!
