Both boys had an amazing first week at school. Levi's teachers said he was the best in the class and said if they could have 11 of him, life would be good (!), while Colton's teachers raved at how sweet and smart he is, remarking he is well ahead of where he needs to be. Plus, much to moms delight, Colton has already made two new friends...Riley and Tony (tony has a ninja turtle lunch box too...very important) and he seems so happy in his new classroom!

To celebrate, the boys stopped at skinny dip after school and then joined mom and dad at surf rider for dinner.

September 2, 2014

Today was the first day of school for both Colton and Levi (and mom for that matter), and as such the day was jam-packed with fun from beginning to end. Both boys woke up excited to find the back-to-school fairy had visited and left them a few goodies, including donuts for breakfast. With that excitement fresh, the boys headed off to Bellamy Manor to start their new year. Both boys had a good day and came home with mom after lunch. At night, Colton and Levi had pizza for dinner and then capped off their special day with a cookie cake celebration.

August 31-September 1, 2014

Colton and Levi have been busy enjoying their last couple days of summer vacation. On Sunday, they took dad to the JCC pool and showed off their amazing swimming skills for him. Both boys have come such a long way this summer! At night (after taking showers to spiff up...both boys insist they now prefer showers to baths), they met Nene, Papa, and Gigi down at the beach for dinner.

On Monday, the boys made a trip to Chuck E. Cheese and then hung out at home. Before going to bed, the boys were excited to get their back to school notes and presents from mom and dad, although Levi seemed a bit skeptical about his note!

August 29-30, 2014

Colton and Levi continued to make the most of their last few days of summer vacation. On Friday, the boys requested a trip to the putt putt course at Ocean Breeze...so that's exactly what they got. Afterwards, they headed to Nene and Papa's house so Levi could put his new independent swimming skills to work again! 

On Saturday, Colton and Levi began their morning with some pool time with their friends.  After some fun in the pool and on the slide, the boys headed down to ODU for some tailgating and football fun.
