Even though the Steelers had a bye this week, Colton and Levi headed up to Wild Wing to watch football with mom and dad.  Gigi and Jimmy joined everyone for lunch, but then were on their way.

Colton and Levi hung out with dad this morning while mom and J (jimmy) built a new kitchen island outside.  Colton did come out for a bit to help with the measuring, but other than that, the boys stayed inside!  When the island was done, the boys went out for a couple errands and some lunch with mom and dad and then came home to take their naps.  At night, the family had a nice date night at Lubo's to which Colton absolutely insisted that he wear his "tweet tweet game shirt" after mom mentioned that it was a long sleeves night.

Colton began his day at school while Levi hung out in the babysitting room and then with mom.  At 12:30, mom loaded up the car so everyone (chipper included) could go pick Colton up and bring him home for the weekend.  Colton was uber excited to see Chip Chip in the car, and everyone came home for some play time.  At night, Gigi came over and joined the family for Mexican.

Colton and Levi were good sports today as they made their way through errands (which took a little longer than expected after getting stuck in Obama traffic and having to change direction!) with mom.  After finally making it home, they enjoyed some play time...outside, of course, and then had a good time taking a bath together (which meant mom had to whip out the camera!).

As it was Yom Kippur, the boys started off their day at temple (well, the babysitting room).  Once they were out for the day, they came home for some outside play time before going over to Nene and Papa's for the fast breaking (have no fear...the boys didn't fast!).  On a side note, for those interested, today is our sweet Colton's 2 1/2 year old birthday!

Colton and Levi started off their day at the jcc and then met Colton's friend, Landon, at the aquarium. Both boys were very excited to see the fish!

Colton began his day at school, which gave mom and Levi the chance to run a couple of errands.  When the school day was done, Colton was excited to come home and find his friend, Savannah, was over to play with him.  He showed off for her a bit and then crashed in time for a good nap!  Once the boys were back up, they had a nice, quiet evening at home with mom and dad.

September 22-23, 2012

On Saturday, the boys loaded up the car and made the trip west to do some apple picking at Carter Mountain Orchard.  After picking, tasting, and playing, they drove into Charlottesville to spend the afternoon/evening there.  Colton and Levi got to see UVA for the first time (well Levi did...Colton slept through the tour!) and had some fun at the Downtown Mall.  On Sunday, they woke up bright and early, hit Bodo's for a bagel, and then were back on the road. After naps, they went over to Ry and C's house for the (pathetic) Steelers game.
