Colton and Levi hit the waves today at the beach! They were excited to try out their boogie boards and splash around! At night, mom and dad let the boys stay up a little late to watch their new obsession..."American ninja warrior."

June 25-28, 2015

Colton and Levi have continued to make the most of their summer vacation. On Thursday, they showed up at nenes house for some swim time, and on Friday, they went to see "inside out"with Gigi and mom. Colton got a little teary at the sad part, but other than that, both boys seemed to really enjoy it (especially the ice hockey parts for v). Saturday brought some errand running and a stop by mamaws (where the boys entertained themselves with the power recliner!) before Colton and Levi headed down to nene and papas to spend the night. Once mom picked the boys up Sunday, they visited the botanical gardens, and at night, they checked out the hub food truck park and had some fun playing corn hole, getting dinner, and even playing in the sand for a bit.

Another day brought some more water fun for Colton and Levi...this time at another friends house where they both were thrilled to try out the slide and diving  board (maybe even Levi more than Colton!).
On a side note, the boys are currently obsessed with "American Ninja Warrior" after watching an episode. Colton woke up this morning and announced he was going to start training. Look for his first self-created obstacle course at the end...

June 21-23, 2015

Colton and Levi have certainly been enjoying their summer vacation...lots of swimming time, after dinner play time outside, time with friends...and maybe most exciting of all playing on their new baseball slip and slide.

June 18-19, 2015

Another school year has come to a close, and Colton and Levi bid a very bittersweet farewell to their teachers and classes the last couple of days. Both boys had excellent years...making lots of friends, learning a lot, and having fun all the way. Colton managed to make it to Reader 9, through phonics book 2, and can now count to 100, while Levi was quite the stud of his preschool class according to his teachers (in fact one of them told mom "all the girls want to play with him, and all the boys want to be him!". As great as the year was, both boys were eager to begin summer vacation and did so with a very special trip...to Busch Gardens for a few hours to celebrate!
