February 26, 2015

With about 6 inches of snow on the ground, Colton and Levi woke up excited for yet another snow day (our 6th in the past two weeks if anyone is counting!). This time was a bit more special because dad was staying home too, and the boys were very eager to get him outside to build a snowman (and  mom was very happy to have him home so she didn't have to brave the cold!). Once inside, Colton and Levi did a pretty good job entertaining themselves with fort building, legos (for Levi!), police costume wearing (again...Levi), iPad (Colton..go figure), and paper snowflakes.

February 18-19, 2015

With school still closed due to the snow, Colton and Levi have been busy with "camp snow day" courtesy of mom!!! The boys have filled their days with all kinds of activities and even managed to get out of the house a bit to attempt sledding for the first time...a big hit with Colton; Levi not so much.

February 17, 2015

With roughly 4 inches of snow (plus some ice) on the ground, Colton and Levi were thrilled to stay home for an eagerly anticipated SNOW DAY! The boys made sure to make time for all their favorite snow activities: snowmen pancakes, snow angels, making a snow man, playing on their snow boogie board, drinking hot chocolate, and making snow ice cream. They also got to spend some time over at their neighbor Grayson's house for a movie and lunch.

February 14, 2015

Happy Valentine's Day. As with all holidays, Colton and Levi were eager to begin the celebrating. They woke up early and quickly checked their mailboxes and discovered their bag of goodies. After breakfast, the boys were in for another treat as mom and dad took them to Cloud 9 to jump for the morning. After a pit stop at Gammie and Pops's house, the boys came home to make some Valentines cookies (and play with some indoor snow). At dinner time, they met Gammie and Pops at Wild Wing to finish up their celebration.
