Colton and Levi were happy to squeeze in another beach day today...after a very healthy breakfast of chocolate sprinkle doughnuts.  At night, they joined mom and dad for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.

Colton and Levi have had a blast enjoying their last moments of summer.  Yesterday Colton spent the day with nene and then came home in time to play with a lot of his favorite people at  the fantasy football draft.

Today the boys were thrilled to spend the day at ocean breeze with nene and papa.  At night, they had dinner...with cousin gavin and some new friends...at wild wing.

August 28, 2013

Colton and Levi spent yesterday at the JCC pool with their friends Eli and Leo. At night, they went to dinner at AJ Gators and then Levi spent some time with Gigi while mom, dad, and Colton went to meet his teachers for next year!  Afterwards, mom and dad dropped Colton off so they could go meet Levi's teachers!!!
Today, the boys continued to get ready for the school year by heading to McArthur to buy some new shoes.  The boys were excited to run into Nene there! Afterwards, they stopped by the park for some play time and then got some ice cream for lunch (!) before heading home for the night...where Levi wowed us all by peeing on the potty (after saying he had to go!) twice!!!  He also managed to watch,and thoroughly enjoy, an entire episode of "Sesame Street" so maybe our little boy is growing up!!!

The boys were stuck running errands with mom today, although they did manage to amass some highlights: Colton picked out his new bookbag, they discovered the Icees at Target (don't know how we've successfully avoided that until now), and they got lots of compliments:)  With the weather so nice, they were anxious to get home and even ate lunch out on the patio before getting some time in on their play set.

Colton and Levi spent their morning down at the beach today taking in the sights of ECSC (East Coast Surfing Championships).  They both seemed to really enjoy the surfing and skating, but definitely preferred their time at Grommet Park the most!  After some play time, the boys stopped for lunch at Waterman's before heading home.  They, then, spent their evening at home playing outside, eating dinner, and making cookies.

August 22-23, 2013

Colton and Levi have had a pretty calm couple days...at least to their standards.  On Thursday, the highlight was a trip to the park.  And today, they spent the day at home with Gigi who was nice enough to come over while mom had lunch with her old teacher friends.  At night, though, they did get out for dinner at wild wing, where they had a fun impromptu dance party on the stage with their cousin Gavin!

Colton and Levi spent their day at the beach today.  After stopping for slurpees on the way home, they spent the rest of the day hanging out together.

Colton and Levi have been slowly returning to their normal routine.  And with school starting at the end of the week for a lot of their friends, today they joined them for a play date and swim session.  The highlights: dressing up in costumes and the diving board!

Colton and Levi were up bright and early to deal with the chaos that was getting off the ship, going through customs, getting to the airport, and taking our two flights back home to Va. Beach!  The boys actually did well on both flights and were super excited to get home and see Chipper.  Once the day began, everyone was pretty anxious to get home, as can probably be evidenced by the single picture we took!

Today was the last day on the "big boat," and the boys spent it pretty much how they had spent every other one: breakfast, splash park/pool/hot tub time, ice cream cones, drinks upstairs, and dinner in the dining room.  After dinner, Colton and Levi got one last special treat in going to watch Cars 2 in the pool.
