Levi had his 18-month check up this morning, so Colton started off his day at Gigi's house, while mom took Levi.  Our little peanut checked out perfectly, although he was none too thrilled to be at the dr.'s office, pointing to the door and saying "done" (accompanied by some tears) the whole time.  He now measures 31 1/2 inches tall (20th percentile) and weighs 21 pounds, 8 ounces (4th percentile).  Once he was all done there, Levi headed over to Gigi's to go swimming and have some lunch with Colton, Nene, Mom, and Gigi.

After a busy weekend spent the beach, Ry and C's house for Poker Night (and lots of playing with "uncle" Davy), and dinner at Chow for C's birthday, the boys returned to camp this morning.  Levi was primed and ready for his big return, insisting on carrying his book bag with him all morning!  After camp, the boys came home for play time outside and some sprinklers before naps and more mischief-making.

   Colton and Levi started their day off at camp.  It was costume day for Colty and he proudly sported his Captain America cape mom had made him, while Levi had a rough day, supposedly crying each time he heard the word "mommy" or "daddy" and getting a quivering lip and teary eyes when his teacher said Colton's name!  On the way home, they stopped for some Skinny Dip and then spent some time playing outside.  At night, the boys had a nice dinner at Wild Wing, and were especially excited that Uncle/Cousin Gregg stopped by for a visit with two of his Coast Guard buddies!

With rain hanging around today, the boys seized the opportunity and headed to the movie theater to see Monsters University.  The rest of the day/night was spent honing their new talents: Legos for Levi and baseball for Colton!

The boys had a fun day at camp and then came home for some good times together: iPad playing, puzzles, hide and seek after dinner, and even about a bajillion views of a movie about the "big boat" they will soon be going on (warning: Colton wants to do ice skating, surfing, cupcakes, the movie, the slides, dancing, rock climbing, and the hot tub.)  With dad running a little late from work, the boys even took some time to make some ice cream by shaking it in a bag...and then enjoyed the fruits of their labor after dinner!

 Dad was playing golf this morning, so Colton and Levi hung out with mom...first at Colton's swim lessons and then running some errands and stopping by the park.  At home, Mom built them a little water pad to play on that was definitely more of a hit with Levi than Colton!  After naps, the boys met Nene and Papa at Zia Marie's for dinner.

What an awesome summer day!!!  After spending the morning at the jcc pool (and running into their friends Eli and Leo), Colton and Levi headed across the street to spend the evening swimming, playing, and eating with their friend Grayson.

After camp today, mom and Gigi surprised the boys with a trip to Rita's.  and when they got home, the surprises kept coming as the boys had some new toys, including some drums papa had bought for Colton when he was just a couple months old, at home.

Colton and Levi have been trying to beat the heat.  Today they ventured to the Green Bean, a new play place that even had some fun sensory stuff set up for them to play with.  Clearly, that was Levi's favorite part (anything that involves making a mess!), while Colton seemed to enjoy playing dress up...and yes, don't tell Dad...he even sported a tutu for a bit!

Today was a big day around here as Colton and Levi (!) started camp, Levi's first experience away from mom for any amount of time.  He was really excited at first, checking out his classroom and new friends, but immediately changed to tears once he realized mom was leaving!  Hopefully, he will grow to like it!  Once they were home, the boys had fun together taking a shower, playing in the teepee, and generally causing havoc!

Colton and Levi returned home from a night at Gammy and Pop's house (mom and dad were at a Jimmy Buffett concert!) and immediately got back in the car for family fun day at the zoo.  The boys picked up some lunch on the way home and then took some naps before walking across the street to join their friend Grayson for some play time in her pool and dinner!
