The only upside to all this rain is the boys were able to splash around in the puddles after dinner tonight...talk about lots of fun to two rowdy boys!

Colton and Levi spent the day at the bounce house with their friends, including waid (moms friends son).  After play time, they headed to Chik fil a for lunch and more play time.  At night, Gigi surprised them with a visit and ice cream!

                     

We forgot to post yesterday that Colton had his last day of soccer.  Despite having a pretty massive meltdown at the awards ceremony (actually right after this video was taken), we think it's clear he enjoyed soccer (or more accurately, tackling).  He's in a red jersey and black pants.

April. 26-27, 2014

Colton and Levi enjoyed an action-packed weekend.  Saturday morning they started it off with a trip to the new Duck Donuts on the way to Colton's swim lesson.  After lessons, they squeezed in a bike ride (complete with their new helmets) and then headed to the airport to pick up Daddy.  At night, the boys joined mom and dad at Back Deck...and then HK on the Bay once they realized it was still too windy and cold on the water!

On Sunday, the boys went to the Oak Grove Lake park and then ran a couple of errands with mom and dad.  After naps, mom's old friend Claire came over with her husband, son (who is just a few days younger than Levi), and their new twin girls for dinner and play time.  The boys had a blast playing with Waid (Claire's son), while Levi was particularly fond of the babies and kept kissing them.

                          

                         

                          

April 24, 2014

Colton and Levi spent some time at the JCC swimming today with mom.  Afterwards, Levi went home to play with Nene while Colton headed to his 4 year old checkup.  Our boy has broken the 30-pound mark finally, moved up to the 5th percentile, and made it through three shots, a finger prick, and a painful procedure...phew!  After some Wendy's for lunch (Colton's choice after his ordeal), the boys rested up and then joined Nene, Papa, Gigi, C, and Riley for dinner at Baker's Crust.

Happy Easter!  Colton and Levi had a very fun day filled with egg hunts, treats galore, and lots of fun time with family.

For the unofficial conclusion of spring break, Colton and Levi spent the day at Busch gardens with Gigi, Riley, and C. Although Levi had a bit of a slow start, both boys had a blast and are eager to return!  They played games (and even won prizes), rode rides, and got some special treats! Colton's favorite ride was the roller coaster (his first ever!) and Levi's was the train (more accurately the tram we rode to the parking lot) although we think he may have actually liked the games best of all!
