January 29, 2013

Colton and Levi spent their morning at the Children's Museum today.  Colton was a big fan of the bubbles as usual, but also seemed to really like fishing from the boat!  Levi was just thrilled to not have to ride in his stroller today, and had a blast exploring the whole place.  With the nice weather, the rest of the day outside.

January 26-27, 2013

Colton and Levi woke up to snow everywhere and therefore spent their Saturday enjoying the white stuff.  They played outside in it building a snowman, throwing snowballs, and boogie boarding (or just standing firmly in one place in Levi's case).  And when it got too cold to be outside, they brought the snow inside to paint with it and make some homemade snow ice cream.

The boys spent the night at Nene and Papa's house Saturday night Colton was super excited for his night there and even packed his own bag to go bringing his necessities: pajamas, his winter hat, a book to read to Nene, 2 cars, his screwdriver, and a dog leash.  After mom picked them up Sunday morning, they headed to the aquarium and to lunch with mom and dad.

After yesterday's tease, today the boys got to have some fun with real snow today!  They both loved it!!!  And after playing, they got some hot chocolate to sip on...of course!

January 24, 2013

SNOW!!!  Colton (and Levi) were excited to see the white stuff falling from the sky today! They braved the elements to join their friends at the Field House for some play time, but then came home to stay indoors and warm the rest of the day.

January 22, 2013

After spending their morning at the JCC in the babysitting room and then swimming for a bit in the indoor pool, Colton and Levi headed over to visit with C and Riley.  They even got to have a special lunch out together at Baker's Crust and then headed home (which took an hour due to a lovely granite countertop spill on the highway...seriously!?!).

January 21, 2013

With Colton off of school today, the boys had a special adventure: their first trip to the bowling alley. Obviously Levi wasn't able to do much bowling (although he did really enjoy watching the balls roll down the lanes and even pushed a few himself), but Colton LOVED the experience, cheering "go me!" every time he watched his ball roll down.

And even a video, thanks to Gigi who joined us
