December 31, 2012

Colton and Levi got back on track this morning and started their day at the JCC.  Afterwards, they swung by the doctor's office for what was supposed to be a quick ear check for Colty.  An hour later, they walked out with a double ear infection and a new prescription!  The boys made a quick trip to the grocery store before heading home for the afternoon. At night, they got into the New Year's Eve spirit by heading out to dinner at 80/20 Burger Bar with some of their favorite people.  Before going to bed for the night, Colton and Levi had their own countdown with mom and dad (likely the only one mom and dad will make it up to see as well!).

December 29-30, 2012

Colton and Levi enjoyed a pretty peaceful, but fun weekend.  On Saturday, they went to the mall with mom and dad.  After being good boys while mom and dad did some shopping, they were both excited to get out of the stroller and do some playing in the play area...although Levi may have been the more excited one as he was eager to walk around the place!  The boys got some lunch out before heading home for the afternoon.  At night, Ms. Gwen from the JCC came over to watch them so mom and dad could go out to dinner with mom's friend.
On Sunday, the boys hung out at home for the day.  Since Nene's birthday celebration was continuing at night, Colton was insistent that we make some cupcakes (mom's taught him well, right?!?).  At night, the boys joined everyone at Zia Marie's for Nene's big birthday dinner.

December 28, 2012

Colton and Levi were treated to fancy lunch out with Nene, Gigi, and mom to officially kick off Nene's birthday celebrations.  This has become an annual tradition, so it was nice to have Levi along this year to join in!  Other than that highlight, the rest of the day was pretty mundane, with most of it being spent at home!  At night, the boys joined mom, dad, and Gigi for dinner out at Wild Wing.

December 27, 2012

Colton and Levi spent their morning at the mall with mom, and since they were such good boys, they were treated to some time in the play area.  Levi, who now walks more than he crawls, was thrilled to be able to get around and play like a big boy!  After getting out some energy, the boys stopped by mom's friend Kristina's house for a visit and some play time with her cat and then headed home for the afternoon to get into mischief!

December 26, 2012

After a very hectic couple of days, Colton and Levi decided to take it super easy today and spent most of their day at home.  They did take a quick trip to Target to pick up some essentials, which gave a very excited Colton a chance to use his new umbrella from Santa.  Other than that, though, the boys stayed at home for the day playing with their new toys and terrorizing each other.  At night, Gigi came over to play with them so mom and dad could go out to dinner for Uncle Jordan's birthday.
PS: Levi's picture is actually from last week's stop at the One Hour office, but was super cute and had to be shared.  Plus, with all the walking he's doing these days, we weren't able to capture one of him standing still!

December 25, 2012

Merry Christmas!!!  Colton woke up promptly at 6AM ready to start his day of celebrating.  He had been eagerly anticipating Santa's visit to his house, but had to wait for his brother to wake up about an hour later to go see what he had delivered.  Even though Levi hadn't been nearly as excited as Colton initially, he quickly perked up when he spotted the club house waiting in the living room!  Needless to say, both boys were thrilled all morning as they opened up their presents and stocking (for some reason, Colton seemed more excited about the stocking), ate some cinnamon buns (Levi's favorite part of the holiday), and then spent the morning playing with their new goodies.  After naps, both boys were excited to head to Grandma and Pop's house for another round of gifts and food with the Hobbs side of the family.

December 24, 2012

Though the boys were busy helping mom get ready for the Christmas Eve Open House (read: playing by themselves/watching tv so mom could cook and clean), they did manage to fit in some fun of their own, including a trip to the Bounce House, making Santa's cookies, and making some reindeer food.  At night, Colton and Levi were excited to welcome everyone to their house for the festivities.  Both boys had a blast with all the attention!
