Colton and Levi started off their day by dropping off Chipper for his haircut.  Both boys were a little sad to have to leave him (colton even started tearing up), but recovered quickly and enjoyed their rest of their day...which included a trip to the park and lunch out at McDonalds with Nene.  After naps, the boys were excited to pick up Chipper (and followed him around for most of the afternoon).  Later, they headed out to dinner and then to the ODU basketball game.

Colton and Levi spent their Tuesday with some friends playing (and then watching some tv!) at Ben's house.

With today being Purim, Colton got to head to school in his costume. He participated in the parade and then mom got to come into his class and help with the carnival! As much fun as Colton had, mom may have had an even better time seeing how well he does in school! The evening was spent out at Home Depot getting a new mailbox and then having quite the eventful (as in multiple fire alarms...leading to very fussy, squirmy boys) Mexican dinner.

February 23-24, 2013

We've been told these boys are always on the move, and this weekend was no exception.  On Saturday, Colton and Levi ran a couple of errands with mom and dad.  At night, they joined mom, dad, and Gigi for dinner at CP Shuckers.  In between, they entertained themselves at home playing with all the balloons left over from various celebrations!
On Sunday, they were lucky enough to find out about a train show down at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, so they headed down there for some fun looking at the trains, racing some trains, and even taking a quick ride on a trackless train.  Afterwards, they ventured into Whole Foods for some lunch and looking around.  After coming home, napping, and having some dinner, the boys were off to Skinny Dip to cap off their weekend with some ice cream.

February 21-22, 2013

On Thursday, Colton and Levi spent the day at their friends, Eli and Leo, house who were nice enough to host them to accommodate Colton's potty training. The boys had such a good time playing with all their friends and getting their hands on someone else's toys!
On Friday Colton returned to school (and made it through accident free!), while Levi joined his play group. At night the boys went to Cheesecake Factory with mom, dad, uncle Jordan, aunt Stephanie, and cousin Gavin.

February 20, 2013

As we continued to work on mastering Colton's potty training (for the record, he is really good at going on the potty when put there, but still doesn't seem interested in alerting us as to when he actually has to go!), Colton stayed home and joined mom and Levi for some errands.  Since the boys did a good job out, they were treated to some fun at the library (until Colton had an accident and had to leave...).  Once back home, they entertained themselves by shoveling, pouring, and tossing Fruit Loops.

Colton continued his potty training today, but  took his show on the road today hitting up the JCC, Babies R Us, and the Bounce House.  It was pretty successful (with only one accident).  For his part, Levi had a good time being out and about too, especially at the Bounce House where he jumped, slid, and ran his morning away!  When the boys got home, they eagerly helped mom with a little bit of dusting!

Today was a big day around here as Colton officially said bye bye to his diapers.  Yep, he is a big boy now, proudly wearing his underwear and using the potty on the regular (although he did have one accident).  Of course, it was a process (which we documented in pictures naturally!), but we are so proud of him...

February 14-17, 2013

The boys spent their weekend in Florida visiting with their Big Papa, Doris, and the Lundys!  After a pretty long and stressful travel day Thursday, Colton and Levi settled right into life in Floria, enjoying many meals out including Chippers, Two Jays, and a couple bagels.  They also did some shopping, playground showoffing, and even some swimming!  The boys were really happy they were able to make the trip and get to know all these very special people a little better...
