Happy Mother's Day! Colton spent the day spoiling mom with his love and cuteness (as always!). In the morning, he and dad took mom out to breakfast and then the three of them ran a couple of errands, including getting Colton's big boy car seat. In the afternoon, all of Colton's Virginia Beach family members came over from both sides of the family to have a Mother's Day cookout that dad was nice enough to plan, cook, and clean up. Colton was definitely the center of attention once again and had a blast playing with everyone
A daily (or close enough) look at Colton and Levi's lives for all of their adoring fans!

Year 2, Day 43
Colton had a pretty uneventful Saturday, hanging out with mom, dad, and Chipper around the house for most of it. He did get a chance to go on his very first ever dad only excursion as the two boys went to the mall quickly and left mom at home to make cupcakes. Colton had some more male bonding time at night when Uncle Jordan came over to babysit him so mom and dad could go to the Kentucky Derby party. Mom and dad were a little worried at first, but Uncle Jordan did a great job and even managed to get Colton into his pajamas all by himself!

Year 2, Days 41 and 42
We apologize for the lack of a post yesterday...Mom was waging a major war with her students' Mother's Day presents and was unable/too frustrated to write. But Colton had a very good day yesterday and continued the trend today, despite waking up at 5:30 this morning for some unbeknownst reason. Even though he was up early, Colton was a big help in taking his brother for his much-needed haircut. After getting everyone home, Colton joined mom and dad for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory (which crazily enough may have been his first trip there). Colton was definitely restless by the end of dinner, so he and mom strolled the streets of Town Center while Dad paid.

Year 2, Day 40
Colton started off his day sporting a crazy hair-do when he woke up and the rest of his day seemed to follow suit. When he got to the babysitter's house, mom noticed a huge clump of soap left in his hair from last night's bath, so they had to rinse him off in the babysitter's sink. Colton, then, had an accident at the babysitter's house and had to wear some back up clothes for the rest of the day. Oh well...afterwards, he was ok and was very happy to see mom at the end of the day!

Year 2, Day 39
Colton had a typical day spent at the babysitter's house. After it was over, he and mom made their triumphant return to the JCC after a couple week hiatus. The nice ladies there were very happy to see Colton back. Once home, Colton played with mom and Chipper while he waited patiently for dad to arrive with dinner.

Year 2, Day 38
After a very well-behaved day at the babysitter's house, Colton came home to take Chipper for a much-needed, long walk with mom. Colton seemed to really enjoy the walk as well, pointing and talking the whole time. Once home, he was a little worn out, so he just practiced one of his cutest tricks to date..."talking on the phone."

Year 2, Days 36 and 37
Colton has had another fantastic weekend. He spent Saturday running errands with mom while Dad was golfing. At night, he went to Zia Maries for dinner with Meme and Papa. He was a fantastic boy at dinner and made everyone very proud and happy. On Sunday, he spent his morning running some more errands with mom and dad. At night, Uncle Jordan came over to have some dinner, play, and even style Colton's hair.
