The boys were busy, busy today.  After their morning JCC trip, they stopped by the One Hour office for a visit (Colton excitedly yelled "dada" and "papa" when we pulled into the parking lot).  Before going home, they made a quick stop at the mall and to pick up some lunch.  Once home, Colton and Levi took advantage of the beautiful weather for some outdoor play time.  After naps, they even went back outside, this time with Gigi who was over for a visit.  

March 6, 2012

Since it was Tuesday, Colton started off his day at school while Levi supervised mom at home.  Once the school day was over, everyone came home to enjoy some play time (and naps) before joining dad for Mexican dinner.  Colton did show some possible potty training progress during the day when he proudly announced "mama poop"...unfortunately, it was after he had already went, but fingers crossed that maybe, just maybe he is starting to get ready!  Meanwhile, Levi enjoyed playing with/eating his hands and starting at his whale on his play mat!

Today was a pretty typical Monday for Colton and Levi.  They started off their day at the JCC and then the boys joined mom for a trip to the grocery store.  Other than that, Colton and Levi were happy to spend the cold day inside playing.  

March 4, 2012

With cold, nasty weather hanging out in Va. Beach today, Colton and Levi stayed inside all day. They did spend some time with their grandmother who came over to watch them while mom and dad went to get rid of their old car (YAY!), but other than that, the day was pretty uneventful.  Oh yeah...and Levi's monthly photo shoot, during which his brother was sure to get in on the action!

Levi: Month 2

Happy 2 Months to Levi Shane!  At 2 months, Levi:

• loves to talk to us...he is a very good cooer!
• smiles frequently
• has giggled a couple of times, although they were both in his sleep
• made the big move to his crib and is doing a good job sleeping in there
• is not sleeping through the night (nor does he really seem anywhere close to it!)
• is fascinated by his hands...he is always playing with them or putting them in his mouth
• stands up...with help obviously, but he fully puts his weight on his legs
• pretty much has his head in full control

March 2-3, 2012

Colton and Levi have been busy boys the last couple days.  On Friday, they started off the day with their normal trip to the JCC, but Colton got a special surprise when mom took him swimming after she was done with her workout.  Colton was super excited to get in the pool (he had been asking for it for a few months) and showed absolutely no fear of the water.  Afterwards, the boys went home to rest up and get ready as they took Nene and Papa out to dinner at night.  Again, Colton stole the show, devouring his spaghetti and gelato (and no Papa, DO NOT take it out of the cup....there were some major tears when Papa attempted to help).  
On Saturday, the boys ran a couple of errands with mom and dad before hanging out at the house with mom while dad went off to work the home show.  Once dad was back home, the whole family went to dinner at Wild Wing.
As for today's pictures, Levi spotted a picture of his cousin Alivia (who is just 5 days younger than him) in her Bumbo chair on Facebook.  He got a little curious if he could sit in it too, so mom got it out and lo and behold he can (and actually really likes the new perspective).  Unfortunately, though, someone got a little jealous that his brother was in this fun chair and promptly took it over once Levi left it.  A few minutes later, mom finally managed to get some evidence of Levi's smile (which he is flashing quite regularly these days).

March 1. 2012

It's Thursday, so Colton started off his day at school while Levi spent some time with mom.  Once Levi and mom picked Colton up, they were sure to take advantage of the springlike weather and headed to the park.  At night, Colton and Levi joined mom, Gigi, Nene, and Aunt KC for a dinner at Gordon Biersch while the boys were at their annual sports dinner.  Both boys got tons of attention and many compliments, so they had a blast! And yes, Colton's picture is from last weekend, but it is so sweet I just had to share!
