Colton spent his morning at school while Levi and mom spent most of their morning at the One Hour offices while mom's car was getting an estimate. Once that was done and Colton was picked up (with an eager Chipper waiting in the car...question is who was more excited to see the other in car line!), the boys headed home for some bubble fun. Mom had filled the pool with soap and some bubble making tools (including a hula hoop), and Colton had a blast playing with the "big bubbles" (and Levi had a blast watching/snacking on the wands). Mom and Dad went out for dinner with the One Hour folks to celebrate the awesome month, so Colton and Levi spent their evening with their grandmother, but Colton sure did wander out to say hello once they got home.

And as if that cuteness wasn't enough, here's a fun story! Mom was blow drying her hair this afternoon to get ready for dinner. Colton was already up from his nap and in the bathroom with mom. Levi woke up, so mom told Colton to go tell Levi mommy would be there in a minute. Mom watched as Levi opened the door, walked in, Levi stopped crying, started giggling, and Colton talked to his little brother. When she walked in, this was the sight:

July 24, 2012

The brothers had a good time together today.  Since Colton did not have camp, they were able to do something fun...a trip to the aquarium.  Colton really enjoyed all the fish this time (much more so than his previous trips there), and for his part, Levi seemed to be pretty fascinated by the ones he could see as well!  The rest of the day was spent at home where they enjoyed playing together.  Levi still hasn't quite learned to crawl, but he is definitely scooting himself around, so Colton better watch out because once he figures it out, the game certainly changes!

Colton spent his Monday at camp while Levi joined mom for some errands and cleaning.  Once both boys were back home together, they took some time practicing their new talents...front flips for Colton and sitting himself up for Levi (yep, still haven't figured out that crawling thing, but he has certainly mastered the rock!).

Dad was off golfing today, but Colton and Levi were excited to spend the morning at the beach...and bubble pool.  After resting up and having dad come home, the boys went out for some Mexican dinner and then came home to hang out for the rest of the night.

The boys apologize for the lack of posts the lack couple of days.

On Thursday, the boys spent their day at the pool with Nene and mom and then they were out late after taking the Kletz family portrait (Levi performed like a champ, while Colton was a bit more temperamental per usual these days!).

On Friday, Colton was happy to head off to camp again while mom and Levi spent the morning together. Gigi came over just in time to get Colton and join mom and the boys for a special treat trip to Rita's on the way home. At night, the boys joined mom and dad for dinner at Wild Wing...and good thing too because they lost power before they left for dinner and frustratingly didn't get back until 2AM!

On Saturday, Colton and Levi joined mom, C, and Gigi for some shopping and lunch. At night, they met up with Ry and C again (and Joey and Leah) for dinner at Shore Break. While Colton was clearly disappointed he could not spend dinner climbing all over Ry and C, he managed to pull it together.

Colton was off to camp this morning, which meant Levi and mom got to spend the morning together...running a couple of errands and then just relaxing (thank goodness!).  Once Colton was picked up, everyone wanted to just avoid the heat so it was back home for the rest of the day.  After dinner, Colton did head out with mom for a special treat while Dad stayed home to give Levi a bath.

To beat the heat today, Colton and Levi decided to hit the pool for a bit.  As much fun as that was, the real highlight of the day seemed to be helping mom with a car wash!  The activity was on our summer bucket list, and although mom originally questioned if Colton (and Levi) would even enjoy it, the mere sight of bubbles...and being able to smear them on the car...was certainly plenty to make the boys happy.
