Colton started off his Wednesday at camp (where the counselor reported they had some "issues" with him today...supposedly he was naked frequently during the day...), while Levi stayed home with mom (where he too had some "issues" as this boy is most definitely a momma's boy and can't let her out of his sight).  At night, the boys went to dinner with some mom, dad, and some friends and then out to one of the concerts at Town Center.  Levi was a bit tired, but Colton had a blast dancing with everyone.

August 7, 2012

With rain hanging around today, the boys headed down to mcarthur with mom and Gigi. Most of their time was spent in the play place, where Levi was eager to get in on the action and Colton had fun bonding with the dolphins (in anticipation of his big meeting next week!) and then at lunch.

August 6, 2012

Colton was off to camp this morning (his last week), while Levi joined mom in picking up some essentials for our upcoming trip.  Despite the fact that mom watched Colton not following his counselors' directions (she spied on him while he was in the pool!), they reported that he had a good day...hmmm.  After picking Colton back up, the boys headed home for the afternoon.

August 4-5, 2012

With no definite plans this weekend, Colton and Levi were excited to spend some nice quality time with mom and dad.  On Saturday, the boys started off the day with a trip to dad's barber shop where Colton got to get in on the action and have his first big boy hair cut...right next to Dad!  He loved it and was really good for the lady and proudly earned a pop at the end!  Afterwards, Colton and Levi joined mom and dad for a trip to the mall where the boys both got some new shoes and then the family went out for lunch before heading home.  Colton and Levi spent the evening with Nene and Papa while mom and dad went out to dinner for their anniversary (5 years if anyone's curious!).  

On Sunday, the boys went down to the beach for a little walk on the boardwalk and play time at Grommet Island Park.  After stopping for lunch on the way home, they spent the rest of the day at the house, although they did get out for a bit for a wagon ride and Chipper walk.

Levi: Month 7

Happy 7 months to our sweet Levi Shane!  This month has been a big one for our boy.  At 7 months, Levi:

• is officially off and crawling, managing to get into anything he wants to
• is pulling up on to his knees...and even managed to get totally standing up once
• is putting anything and everything in his mouth...now that he can crawl, nothing is safe!
• babbles and even said "dada" once
• loves to eat.  He's even tried a few "real foods" including eggs, bread, french toast, french fries, mashed potatoes and refried beans.
• got his first two teeth...we're thinking he's working on the top 2 now based on the insane amount of drool lately!
• is a very happy and easy baby...how did we get so lucky?!?

August 2-3, 2012

The boys were pretty busy yesterday getting ready for Ry and C's big gender reveal party.  They helped with all the decorating and food during the day and then at night were there for the big moment.  While Colton was clearly more excited about the cupcake than the actual filling, we are happy to report that it was indeed pink and there will finally be a little girl in our family:)
On Friday, Colton headed back to camp while Levi joined mom for some shopping.  At night, the boys went to Wild Wing with mom and dad and their grandparents.

August 1, 2012

Since Colton was running a fever yesterday , we knew he would be staying home from camp today and taking it easy.  Luckily, his fever seemed to stay away for the day, hovering around 99 but never going back up (and considering he's in his room playing basketball as we speak, I'm thinking he's feeling pretty good!).  Gigi was nice enough to come over and stay home with Colton while mom and Levi snuck in a gym trip and quick errand.  Colton did get to leave the house quickly, though, to get some Skinny Dip (that's what you're supposed to have when you're sick, right?).  As for pictures, Levi's is the view of him when waking up from his nap...now that the boy is mobile, he was caught trying to pull up on his crib and finally landed in the sitting position.  Colton's is a video showing off his very special talent of animal noises.
