Colton and Levi have been keeping busy the last couple of days. After school on Monday, the boys came home and since they couldn't go outside because of the rain, mom built them a fort to play in. Colton enjoyed taking his animal friends into the fort to play, while Levi just liked having the sheet his head as he walked in and out...
On Tuesday, the boys were busy in Norfolk...painting some pottery at Color Me Mine and then visiting mom's old school before bringing Riley and C some lunch. At night, Colton took a trip to Skinny Dip with dad and brought some home to share with his brothers.
Colton and Levi were busy playing Cupid this weekend, working hard to make and then deliver cookies for Valentines Day. At night, the boys joined mom and dad for dinners out...on Saturday night, at Maninos and Sunday night at Big Sam's. Both boys were fantastically behaved both nights, although that could have something to do with Levi's newfound love: ketchup.
Whew! Today turned out to be a pretty eventful day. Colton started off his day at school, while Levi attended his first official play group session. Afterwards, mom and Levi headed to a marathon doctor's appointment (and even had to leave at some point to pick up Colton from school before returning) to find out Levi does indeed have an ear infection. With that information, we were eager to fill his prescription so dropped it off, got a quick lunch at Moes, picked up the prescription, and finally headed home! Neither boy was very interested in napping today, so instead Colton did some baking soda art (basically he dropped colored vinegar on baking soda and watched it fizz). At night, the boys joined mom and dad for dinner at Wild Wing. Once back home, Cotlon was eager to wear his new school shirt, so he decided it was appropriate for pajamas.
Today was a big day as the boys' headed down to get their hair cuts...Levi's first! Colton showed his little brother the ropes, and then Levi was eager to get in on the action.
Sadly, Colton and Levi started off their Tuesday with PawPaw's funeral. Both boys behaved amazingly. Later that day, dad left to go out of town for the night, so the boys went Nene, Gigi, C, and Riley for dinner at PF Changs. On Wednesday, Colton headed off to school while mom and Levi ran some errands. Once back home, the boys were excited to have C and Riley over for a visit. And after naps (or what should have been naps), the boys had more visitors: Gigi stopped by after school and mom's friend Kristina came over for dinner and chaos later.
Colton and Levi spent their Sunday doing some more visiting at Mamaw's house. At night, they joined cousin Gavin at Gammy and Pop's house for some fun while mom and dad got out for a few hours to watch the Super Bowl. Today, Colton went to school while mom and Levi ran some errands. At night, the boys attended PawPaw's viewing. They had a good time getting to meet so many people...and managed to cause a bit of havoc.
Colton and Levi have been pretty busy the last few days, but sadly not for very good reasons...Their beloved PawPaw passed away Friday, February 1st and while the boys will probably not remember him, they will most definitely get to know him through stories, pictures, and memories that mom and dad will share with them. They have been visiting with Mamaw over the last couple of days and have come to find some favorite things in her house: checkers, tv, and dog toys mainly! They did manage to get out a bit including a trip to Home Depot (for some fun tractor rides), a dinner out with Uncle Jordan, Aunt Stephanie, and Gavin, and then another dinner out with Ry, C, and cousin Riley. At dinner, Levi really enjoyed his brownie sundae, as evidenced by the video
