Sadly, Colton has been battling croop for the last couple of days, so the boys have not been up to too much (besides a trip to the doctor's office).  Today, dad was home from work, though, celebrating his work anniversary so Colton and Levi were excited to have extra company!  Both boys went off to school (colton seemed to be feeling better and hadn't run a fever in a couple days), but mom and dad were called to pick Colty up a bit early.  The three got lunch out before heading to pick up Levi and then everyone spent the rest of the day at home trying to stay warm.  

November 10, 2013

After a very successful night's sleep in their big boy beds (told you nene and daddy...both were very skeptical of Levi's big move!), the boys woke up ready for steelers Sunday.  Ry, c, Riley, and Gigi met them at wild wing for the big win, and both boys did a pretty great job watching despite having no naps.  The no nap must have caught up with v later on, though, as he fell asleep on the couch playing iPad!

Today was devoted to getting Levi's room big boy ready, and now that he is snugly sleeping in his bed (after already doing it once at nap time), we think it is safe to say it was a success!  V loves his new bed, especially the doggies, and is even quite enamored with his reading corner!  Colton snuck out for part of the day with dad to get a much-need hair cut, and then the whole family met Gigi for dinner at PF Changs.

Colton and Levi had a nice day with just mom (no friends!).  After their morning trip to the JCC, they made a quick stop at AC Moore and then spent some time at the Field House playing.  The boys came back home for lunch and then went on a walk around the neighborhood for a nature hunt since the rain had stopped.  

November 5, 2013

Colton and Levi spent their Tuesday at Orb bouncing and playing with their friends.  Levi even managed to go down the big slide with the big boys...and was quite proud of himself for it!  On the way home, the boys stopped at Chik-Fil-A for some lunch and more play time.  As part of their kids meals, they got some Slap Jack playing cards that quickly became the new favorite activity (they even talked dad into playing with them once he got home). After naps, Colton and Levi made one final trip for the day...to Colton's "Kindergarten school" to help mom vote.

After waking up bright and early (thanks Daylight Savings...), Colton and Levi started off their Mondays at school.  Both boys had a great day, but Levi was especially excited and proud of the special treat he got for being such a good helper with clean up!  Luckily, he's also a pretty phenomenal sharer and let his big brother have some!  Since it was pretty cold outside (at least for mom's standards), the boys spent lots of time inside today playing in their playroom...and in the bath tub.

Colton and Levi took it pretty easy all weekend. With no real plans on the agenda.  They got in a lot of playing time at home, but did manage to take a trip today to see Gigi's new house.  At night, they met the Kletz family (and Jennifer) for dinner at Zia Marie's to celebrate Papa and Gigi's birthdays.
