Despite the fact that yesterday was a gorgeous, mid-70s day, today the boys woke up to find out they didn't have school due to impending snow/sleet.  They didn't seem too disappointed and did manage to squeeze in a trip to the JCC and the grocery store before coming home to escape the elements.  The passed away a part of the day with some erupting snow (mom made indoor snow out of baking soda and shaving cream...and then we poured vinegar on it) and hot chocolate (colton now insists on having it on a snow day...it's his "favorite part.")

March 1-2, 2014

Colton and Levi enjoyed a pretty low-key weekend.  On Saturday, the boys gave dad a break and joined mom and Gigi for some shopping and lunch out at bakers crust.  At night, they met ry, c, and Riley for dinner at Luna maya.  On Sunday, mom had to work a party, so Colton and Levi spent the day playing with dad.  Once mom was home and they had eaten dinner, they decided to take advantage of the last few hours of nice weather with some skinny dip.

February 27, 2014

Colton and Levi enjoyed a day at the Children's Museum today with their friends.  After lots of playing and exploring, they had some lunch at the Coffee Shoppe across the street before heading home.  Oh, and your eyes are not deceiving you...both boys insisted on wearing their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (a new obsession around here) shirts today!

February 25, 2014

Whew!  What a busy day for Colton and Levi.  They started it off at the jcc with Colton's swim lesson.  Levi even decided to get in on the action and did some swimming of his own with mom.  After drying up, the boys headed to pigtails and crew cuts to get haircuts.  Afterwards, they had some lunch and play time with their friends  Eli, Leo, and Oliver.  Finally,  Colton got to spend an hour at young chefs academy for his much-anticipated cooking school while mom and Levi ran some errands.

February 22-23, 2014

Colton and Levi made sure to take advantage of the nice weather this weekend and get outside.  On Saturday, the plan was to go to the aquarium and see the mermaids, but with crazy lines and chaos, they changed their minds and spent some time at redwing park instead.  At night, gammy and pop came over to spend some time with the boys so mom and dad could get out!

On Sunday, the boys chose to go putt putting at the jcc and then after a couple of errands, came home for some outdoor play time. After naps, Colton and Levi were excited to have uncle ryan and Riley over for some more play time (although they pegged her a couple of times...).

February 20, 2014

Colton and Levi had a blast today jumping away at Cloud 9 trampoline park.  Seriously, Colton now claims this is his new favorite place ever! Levi loved all the balls there were to play with, and Colton was totally obsessed with the big jump into the foam pit.  When they were done there, the boys stopped by the park for some more play time before heading home for the evening. 

                        

              

                   

               

                         

February 18, 2014

After a morning at the jcc for Colton's swim lesson and some free swim, the boys made a trip to nene and papas to pay a visit.  Despite a little Levi run in with the pool cover (think he's learned his lesson now), the boys had a good time playing basketball, picnicking, and exploring.  After naps, Colton and Levi took advantage of the nicer weather and met c and Riley at the park.  To top the fun day off, they stopped for slurpees on the way home!
