March 22, 2012

Since Levi still seems very uninterested in sleeping through the night, he started off his day with a snooze in mom and dad's bed after coming in there as dad was getting ready for work.  Colton, meanwhile was up and about and double fisting his juice and milk!  Once Levi joined everyone, it was time to take Colton to school and for Levi to spend some time playing at home with mom.  Once Colton's school day was over, the boys returned home for even more play time.  At night, the whole family headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's (Pop's?) house for some dinner.

March 21, 2012

Colton and Levi had a pretty typical day.  After their morning JCC trip, they were off to run a couple of errands, and then headed back home to play some.  Colton did get a nice surprise early birthday gift from his Aunt Erin, Uncle Drew, and cousin Alivia and enjoyed playing with his new bubbles outside.

March 20, 2012

Colton started his day off at school, while Levi ran a couple errands with mom. After school, Colton celebrated his first day of spring with a special rita's treat. The rest of the day was spent playing outside and with Levi meeting his new friend, Sophie!

March 19, 2012

Levi and Colton must have been very excited about mom's birthday today because they were both up nice and early at 6:15!  After their usual trip to the JCC, they were excited to come home to meet Gigi who had taken off work to celebrate.  Gigi, mom, and the boys went to meet Nene at Chick's for a nice lunch outside (where Papa surprised us with a visit).  The boys then headed home for some naps.  When dad got home, the whole family went to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner and afterwards, Colton was kind enough to join mom for some birthday Cold Stone.

March 17-18, 2012

Colton and Levi had another wonderful weekend.  On Saturday, they spent the morning with dad while mom was at a bridal shower.  Once she was home, they had a bit of play time before taking naps.  At night, it was time to kick off mom's birthday celebrating with dinner at McCormick and Schmicks.  Both boys were wonderfully behaved and a lot of fun to have with us, although Colton is definitely starting to have some jealousy issues when his brother is getting some attention!
On Sunday, the boys hung out with mom for the day while dad was busy working the Shamrock Marathon.  They missed their dad, though, and were excited to see Papa and Uncle Ryan too (and even Nene who was also stopping by), so they headed down to the race for a bit to visit everyone.  The rest of the day was spent relaxing inside with Colton playing choo-choos and Levi practicing some tummy time (he's still not a fan!).

March 16, 2012

Seriously the weather in Va. Beach could not be any better recently, and with it forecasted to come to an end tomorrow, Colton and Levi were sure to take advantage of it for one more day.  After their morning trip to the JCC, the boys were off to Grommett Park at the beach for some play time with mom's friend Katie and her little girl Savannah.  After running around for a bit, they headed to Rudees for lunch on the gliders.  One would think that would have been plenty to wear everyone out, but apparently Colton was not game for a nap today.  Instead, he headed back outside to hang out with Gigi (who had stopped by for a visit), eat a Fudgesicle, and then run through the sprinklers to get said Fudgesicle off of himself!  At night, the boys joined mom and dad for dinner at Wild Wing.
***And just to warn you this is probably way too many pictures of one boy eating a Fudgesicle but mom just couldn't pick which one was cutest, so you get to see them all (plus one of Levi as well!)!

March 15, 2012

Colton was off to school this morning, but Levi and mom were very busy in his absence.  First, Levi went to the doctor for his 2-month appointment.  He now weighs 11 pounds, 6 ounces and measures 22.5 inches (which means technically he shrunk a half inch, but we're guessing it's more the result of some over eager stretching last month!).  Other than that, the doctor confirmed that everything looked just perfect with our boy, and then he handled his shots like a champ.  After the doctor, he was off to meet mom' friend Mary for some lunch, although he slept through the whole thing (presumably a result of his shots).  Levi continued sleeping as he headed to pick up Colton from school and then as Colty came home to play in the sprinklers in the back yard.   Levi eventually woke up to join in on the fun and then played with his brother some before they both took their naps.
