As usual, the boys have been busy this weekend.  On Friday, Colton had a sing along Shabbat at school and was excited to have mom, Levi, and Nene join him.  Unfortunately, while we were there, mom noticed a major rash on Levi, so after the singing was done, the boys took a trip to the doctor's office.  It turns out Levi's rash was actually a good thing, as it was just his virus leaving his body (woo hoo).  The boys came back home to rest up and then headed over to their grandparents' house to celebrate Pop's birthday.  
On Saturday, Colton and Levi went down to Ry and C's house to spend some time with them and baby Riley.  After picking up some lunch on the way home, the boys came home to rest up and then spent the night at the JCC with some of their friends in the babysitting room, so mom and dad could get out for some much-needed alone time!
And today, Colton and Levi started their day off with a trip to Target and then made their way over to their great grandparents' house to visit with them.  After their naps, the boys met dad at Wild Wing to watch the rest of the Falcons game with him...and console him when they lost!

Levi woke up this morning in a pretty pathetic state...with a fever and obviously feeling pretty miserable as all he wanted to do was lay on mom.  He slept most of the morning away, while mom  and Colton entertained themselves with some dry erase drawing on the windows and whip cream fingerpainting/finger licking on the counters (Levi woke up in time to get in on some of that action!).  Once he was rested (and got some pudding in his belly/all over himself), Levi was in a much better mood and enjoyed some fun bath time painting with his brother.

After Colton was picked up from school, the boys came home to make their own snow globes.  Both Colton and Levi were excited to pick out their dogs (mom had bought some miniature ones earlier for this exact purpose) and put them inside.  And, of course, shaking up the "snow" was really exciting every time!

January 15, 2013

Riley Cameron Kletz, Colton and Levi's first girl cousin, finally arrived today at 10:56 AM!!!  The boys spent most of their day at home with dad who was nice enough to come home from work so mom could go up to the hospital.  Once Colton and Levi woke up from their naps, though, they were anxious to meet Riley themselves so they headed up to the hospital.  Truthfully, the boys were a bit more excited to see Ry and C (and play in their big hospital room) than they were to meet Riley, but Colton did offer her a fruit loop and asked her if she was hungry, so at least he seems to care some! After their visit, the boys stopped for dinner at Dirty Buffalo with Gigi and Big J before heading home.

This weekend was Levi's big first birthday Winter OneDerland party.  Both boys had a blast celebrating with so many friends and family.  While Levi wasn't necessarily a fan of his snow, Colton certainly was!

And if that's not enough, Colton spent his Sunday morning at the bounce house for another birthday party this morning.

And when he got home, he got really into playing Candyland.

Oh and yesterday he spent some time at Gigi's house...and then hijacked Big J's sunglasses on the way back to our house.
