On Monday, the boys got a special treat as Levi got to join Colton in his big boy classroom while mom and dad met with Colton's teacher for his conference. Ms. Janice had lots of good things to say about our boy: he's bright, sweet...and also a bit stubborn (surprise, surprise!). She also was very impressed by how many letters (all of them!), numbers, etc. Colton already knows which was nice to hear. Colton stayed at school once the conference was done, but Levi left to head to the doctor...where it turns out he doesn't have anything other than a cold/virus much to mom's disbelief. The rest of the day was spent hanging out around the house.
On Tuesday, Colton and Levi spent their day at their friends Spencer and Esther's house playing with their buddies. Colton really enjoyed the Hungry Hippo game, while Levi spent most of his time in their play kitchen...and then in their real kitchen as he tried every single snack available!
Whew! What an eventful, fun-filled, fall weekend the boys just had! On Saturday, they hosted a s'mores party at their house and were thrilled to have so many of their favorite people over at one time! On Sunday, they started off their day at a birthday party. On the way home, they stopped at the Farmer's Market to pick out some pumpkins and then came home for some much-needed naps. Afterwards, they headed to Shorebreak to meet the Kletz's for Steelers Sunday. But with the Steelers stinking and Levi running a fever (we think, although the thermometer didn't agree!), they decided to leave a bit early!
Colton and Levi were very excited to spend their day at Hunt Club Farm with Nene, C, Riley, and mom. They got to pet and feed the animals, ride a pony, take a hayride, play in the hay, and play on the playground. On the way home, the boys got lunch with everyone at PMS Deli before calling it a day!
