Colton began his day with his swim lesson.  He did much better than lady week and thus earned a new iPad game and movie rental...both of which he was very eager to cash in on so he rushed home to do so!  After a little home time, though, the boys were eager to take advantage of the few remaining hours of decent temperatures and headed to the park for a bit.  After dinner, they were super excited to see the snow coming down and went to bed hoping for some fun in the snow tomorrow!

January 20, 2014

With no school today, the boys began their day at the JCC and then with a quick trip to the grocery store.  But once they were done, the decided to take advantage of the great day and get over to MacArthur Center for the last day of their ice skating rink.  Even though mom and Gigi (who joined us) were a bit skeptical, both boys actually really enjoyed skating, and Colton even kicked us off the rink so he could go at it alone (he, then, clung to the rail the whole time...and we're talking toddler rink, so it was only a small square, but still).  After skating, the boys even got to ride one of the rides before leaving to go home.  After naps, they had even more fun when they headed across the street to play with their friend Grayson.

Colton and Levi began their day with a special treat from o's donuts (chocolate with Reese's cups for Colton and strawberry with Oreo for levi).  After breakfast, the boys took it easy at home for the rest of the day, although they did create their own fun with done rousing games of hide and seek, treasure hunt, and other antics.

January 17, 2014

Colton was off to school this morning, while mom and Levi did a bit of shopping.  Once home, the boys had some fun building indoor snowmen/making a mess with some indoor snow mom made for them.  After naps (well, supposed naps...), Colton and Levi joined a fun assortment of people: Uncle Gregg, Uncle Jordan, Aunt Stephanie, Gavin, and their neighbors DJ, Danita, and Grayson for dinner at Wild Wing.

Levi spent some time with nene this morning while Colton had another speech evaluation.  When he was done, colty and mom met up with Levi and nene at nene's hotel where the boys enjoyed hotel living: the game room, the pool...life was good!  Colton and Levi stopped for lunch at taste on their way home and then spent the rest of their day playing at home.

Colton and Levi started off their day at the jcc, but instead of just spending time in the babysitting room, Colton got to start his swim lessons up again.  After lessons, Colton continued his big day with a hair cut and then both boys headed to the library and even got to check out some books.

Colton and Levi were off to school this morning.  When the boys were done, they took advantage of the nice weather and spent some time on Levi's school's playground.  Once home, the boys continued their outdoor play time by riding bikes and scooters before nap time.
