Year 2, Days 249 and 250

Whew!  As evidenced by the pictures, Colton had quite the fun-filled, holiday-themed weekend! On Saturday, he woke up happy to see that dad was home from his trip.  With the whole family back together, he set off for the Christmas tree lot to pick out his tree.  Colton loved running through all the trees and touching them.  At night, he headed down to the Marriott in Norfolk with mom and dad.  Mom and dad had their holiday party there, but Colton stayed with a babysitter in the room.  It had been awhile since Colton had stayed in a hotel, and he seemed to love every minute...the indoor pool, the big bed, etc, even though he stayed up well past his bedtime (11:30 to be exact and even joined the party downstairs for a bit!).  On Sunday, he returned home to catch up on some sleep before meeting Meme and Papa for the (very successful) Steelers game.  After having some Mexican food for dinner, he came back home to drink some hot chocolate and help decorate the Christmas tree.  He was much more into the experience as compared to last year, begging for more and more ornaments and really delighting in the lights.
