The boys woke up this morning super excited to finally be boarding the "big boat" they had talked about for so long.  After clearing the rigamaroll that was customs (don't worry...Papa, of course, had us there bright and early) and boarding, the boys were eager to explore the ship.  Because the rooms weren't quite ready yet, they stopped for lunch in the Windjammer Cafe (where they would spend many a meal over the next week!) and then once they could finally get in, they headed to the splash park for their first swim and grabbed the first of many ice cream cones by the pool.  Mom and dad attempted naps for them, but in what would be a common theme for the week, the boys ended up playing more than napping.  Persevering, the family braved the horrid evacuation drill and got all spiffed up to watch the ship's departure from the to deck, and then headed in for a before dinner drink at Olive or Twist (in what would become another nightly event!) and their first dinner in the dining room.  Afterwards, Colton was very anxious to hit the arcade....and of course, what Colton wants, Colton gets, so...we hit the arcade and checked out the kids clubs before calling it a night.
