Year 2, Day 164
Colton had a rough start to his day. After waking up at 3:45 (reason still unknown!), a little girl scratched his face when fighting over a toy at school, bringing on some major tears from baby boy (and some pretty severe scratch marks on his face!). Luckily, mom was still there, and Colton quickly calmed down and ended up having a good day. Other than that, Colton had a pretty uneventful day with mom at home.

Year 2, Day 163
Today turned out to be a pretty significant one for our little man as he said his clearest, most deliberate word yet: Papa!!!! He said it several times today...when he saw Papa at the One Hour office, when he was looking through his family member book and photo albums, and when Papa went to pick him up after dinner. For those of you keeping track, this now brings Colton's word total to five: (although the others leave off the end sound): dog, ball, dad, milk, and mama (which he seems to only use if crying!). After dinner, Colton entertained the crowd by dancing in the parking lot of Zia Maries...such a ham!

Year 2, Day 161
Colton was quite the lazy bones today, seeing as he didn't even get out of his pajamas for the whole day! He spent his morning with dad while mom was busy building a mirror, and then after his nap, he spent some time with mom while dad was off visiting. Once dad got back home, he had dinner with the whole family and then did some reading/playing before bed.

Year 2, Days 159 and 160
Colton has had a perfect Labor Day weekend. On Saturday, it was time for ODU's first football game (and tailgate, of course) of the season. Mom and dad were anxious to see how little man would handle the festivities this year. He had a blast at the tailgate, and was very into the game....for about a quarter...and then he clearly was sick of sitting still, so it was time to leave! Still, pretty good:)
On Sunday, he joined mom AND dad! along with the rest of the Kletz family for a beach day. Dad ended up getting lost on the jetski for an hour or so, so Colton was at the beach a little longer than planned. Good thing he was having such a good time playing with the dogs, sand pool, and float. At night, he joined mom and dad for dinner at Gordon Biersch.

Year 2, Day 157
Colton headed off to his second day of school. The teacher reported that he was very easy and laid back and he seemed to really enjoy it again. When he got home, he played outside for a bit before and after his nap.
