The boys started off their Sunday with some relaxing around the house before they joined mom and dad for a shopping trip to lynnhaven mall. After naps, they met nene and papa for dinner at Lubo.

Colton and Levi had a busy and fun Saturday.  In the morning, the boys headed out to Pungo to join mom and some friends for a picnic and some strawberry picking.  Dad was golfing and couldn't go, but luckily Gigi joined us and was able to keep our pale Levi in the shade while Colton picked his berries.  Colton seemed to think strawberry picking was more of an Easter Egg Hunt type thing, and was excited to pick anything and everything he could find...which resulted in some pretty inedible picks, so much so the farm didn't even charge us for our picks!  After attempting to take naps (Levi finally took a small one, but Colton decided to skip that for the day which explains his awful mood later in the night), the boys went up to the hospital to meet their very first cousin, Gavin, who was born yesterday.  After visiting with Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Jordan, and Gavin for a bit, they stopped at Wild Wing for dinner and then quickly got home to put a very grumpy Colton to bed!

Beach day!!!! Well, Colton was excited to hit the beach, play in the sand, and even splash in the waves (and practice his bubble blowing from swim lessons) but Levi seemed less than thrilled to be in his hut. The day didn't last as ling as anticipated, but I'm sure well be back many more times this summer (even if Levi ends up staying home with dad!). At night, the boys joined mom, dad, Gigi, and Jimmy for dinner at ah gators.

Levi: Month 4

At 4 months, Levi:

• is growing more and more hair daily to fill up his little head...his "old man hair" from his newborn days is long gone!
• must be teething...he always has to have something in his mouth (although he doesn't want the pacifier anymore)
• sleeps about 7.5 hours a night
• smiles and talks
• rolls over easily from his back to belly...but then gets stuck and can't quite get himself back over
• takes a daily nap...in his crib...at nap time!!!! MAJOR victory
• is very intrigued by his brother
• has little fat rolls on his legs...love it!

The boys had a pretty typical Thursday with Colton heading off to school and mom and Levi running some errands.  After school, Colton reluctantly joined his swim lesson, but ended up doing a really good job blowing bubbles, kicking, using his arms, and even floating (with help) once mom wasn't around anymore.  Once swimming was done, the boys headed home for the rest of the day.

Colton and Levi started their day (after both waking up in the night...twice for Colton...super!) as normal at the JCC.  Afterwards, they ran a quick errand and then were back home for the rest of the day.  With the hot weather, Colton was very eager to whip out the sprinkler and had a blast playing in it, while Levi seemed to enjoy watching.

Colton started off his Tuesday at school, while Levi hung out with mom and joined her at the grocery store, where he was happy to soak up all of his attention!  After school, the boys made a quick trip to the park and then came back home to hang out for the rest of the day.  2 things of note today: 1. Levi is getting to be such a big boy...his hair is coming in quickly, he has little fat rolls, he can sit up (for very short bursts but still), 2. Colton is taking note of his brother's increasing abilities and now has decided to "play" with him...unfortunately, he doesn't seem to realize he has to be gentle with him...there was even an incident where Levi ended up out of his bouncy seat and on the floor face first while mom was in the bathroom...no tears, but a little unnerving!
PS: Thanks Aunt Debbie and Uncle Tony for our new rocker...we love it!!!  Even Levi took it for a few rocks today, but Colton definitely dominated the action!
