Year 2, Day 265

Colton enjoyed a pretty typical day with mom: morning trip to the JCC, followed by quick stops at AC Moore and Harris Teeter, before coming home to hang out for the rest of the day!  He does have a special treat for you all, though...mom finally managed to charge the video camera, so here he is showing off some of his latest tricks:

Year 2, Day 264

Colton headed back to the mall first thing this morning to get back in line for his photo with Santa.  After waiting about 45 minutes, he was scared to death of him!  Even an Elmo stuffed animal didn't stand to cheer him up, as he kept reaching for mom and dad the whole minute or so he was on Santa's lap!  Oh well...maybe next year, he'll be back on track.  Plus, it made for some good laughs and memories:)  After the failed Santa visit, he joined mom and dad for lunch at Big Sam's and then a quick stop at WRV before coming home to relax for the rest of the day.

Year 2, Day 263

Colton spent his morning lounging in bed watching tv with mom and dad and then playing in his playroom.  He, then, had some daddy bonding time while mom was at a friend's cookie exchange party.  When she got home and he got up from his nap, he headed to the mall to do a little holiday shopping and meet Santa.  Unfortunately, the line was crazy long (like 1 hour plus), so Colton decided to try again another day (soon!) and went to dinner at Carrabas instead.  

Year 2, Day 261 and 262

Colton has had a busy last couple of days.  Yesterday, Meme picked him up from school and he went back to her house for the afternoon because mom was supposed to have her doctor's appointment (mom ended up getting in a very minor accident on the way and then missed the appointment, so it has been rescheduled for Tuesday).  Oh well, Colton enjoyed himself and then met mom and dad for dinner (with Meme and Papa, of course) at Yard House.  On Friday, he started the day off with his JCC trip but then had to go get his flu shot.  When he was done, he stopped by Aunt Genna's school to bring her some lunch and to visit with her and her students.  Colton hammed it up the entire time he was there and really loved when the kids read him Green Eggs and Ham.  After his nap, he joined mom, dad, and Uncle Gregg for dinner at Wild Wing.

Year 2, Day 260

With the holidays quickly approaching, Colton spent his day with mom at the mall picking up some presents.  He was a good sport about it, but was very happy when they entered the Toys R' Us at the end of the trip.  Afterwards, he stopped by the One Hour office to cheer everyone there up and then headed home to play in his playroom for the rest of the day.  

Year 2, Day 259

After spending his morning at school, Colton came home to enjoy his new favorite spot in the house: his playroom.  Now that we have cable AND an actual place for mom to sit down there, he has been spending a lot of time enjoying his toys.  He even knows to clean up everything before he leaves the room (or maybe we just got lucky today!).

Year 2, Day 258

Mondays are usually pretty busy, errand-running days for mom and Colton, and today was no exception.  After the morning trip to the JCC, Colton joined mom at AC Moore, Target, and Harris Teeter.  He, then, came home to play in his playroom until his nap.  Once he woke up, he was a bundle of energy (per usual these days) and really wanted to take Chipper for a walk, so we obliged.  When dad got home, it was lots of playing, running, and yelling before bath, Sesame Street, and bed.
